In our fast-paced lives, restful sleep is often elusive. Yoga offers a natural way to unwind and prepare for a peaceful night.
Yoga isn't just about physical postures; it also involves deep breathing and mindfulness, which activate the parasympathetic nervous system.
How: Kneel, sit on heels, extend arms forward, and rest forehead on the mat. Breathe deeply for 1-2 minutes.
How: Lie on back, bring soles of feet together, and let knees fall open. Hold for 2-3 minutes, focusing on deep breaths.
How: Lie next to a wall, swing legs up, and keep back on the ground. Hold for 5-10 minutes.
How: Lie flat on back with arms at sides. Close eyes and breathe naturally for 5-10 minutes. Tip: Cover yourself with a blanket.
